Intermediate Kayaking skills & techniques
Take your skills to the next level with our Intermediate skills and techniques class. This class will cover high and low braces ( how to prevent a capsize) , draw strokes (moving your boat sideways), hip snap development, Bow rescues, paddle float rescues and cowboy rescues. We will also recap the basics, refine paddle strokes, work balance and gets lots of wet-exit practice.
Kayaking basics are required. Intro to Kayaking is suggested, but not required.
Class Length: 2hr
What to Bring: Bring a swim suit, towel, swim shirt or synthetic shirt for warmth. Goggles and nose plugs are optional. All required paddling equipment (boat, spray skirt, paddle..) is included.
